Bio

Shadow was not always called Shadow, his real name is Donovan Hunt, and he was part of a tribe called Galdrastafir. Not only was Shadow part of the tribe but he was the chief's son, next in line to be chief  His Father taught Donovan how to hunt, and survive in the wild on his own. All was not well in the tribe, the tribal healer had gone missing, and to make matters worst the tribe was being attacked by a rival tribe, Ndee. Late one night Ndee attacked the tribe's home. Chaos everywhere, Donovan watched as his friends, family, and his father were slaughtered before his eyes. He survived the attack, and fully knew everything had changed because of the attack, anyone else who had survived the attack would have split up and gone their separate ways. The fist thing Donovan did was rush to his father's dead body, his father never even pulled his weapon, the obsidian dagger, an extraordinary dagger that Donovan knew had some or multiple special abilities, but he just didn't know what. After taking the dagger and a few other supplies that he could scavenge from the battle worn tribe.Once he had what he could find and use, Donovan left his home, to never return, he took to the forest as that was what he knew best. While in the forest Donovan decided that he would leave his old identity behind, from then on he would no longer be Donovan Hunt, he would now be Shadow Prince. Shadow for all the dark memories that are shadowing over him. Prince because he is never going to be anything but the next one to power, the Prince. Shadow only found one thing out about the dagger while he survived with it, it was at least twice as sharp as most other daggers, if not sharper.
After a few years of surviving in the wild Shadow stumbled upon an Assassin Training camp. To gain entry to the Assassin Training camp Shadow had to prove himself, he had to fend for himself in an arena.Scattered with the bones of previous "recruits". He was put in a death sentence  but certainly he wouldn't go down without a fight. During his battle in the arena against a Master Assassin, Shadow found out two things, one thing about himself, and one thing about the dagger. He found out that he had a dark side that unleashed  unexplainable terrors onto the victims of it,  and that the dagger would vanish into a shadow and reappear in his hand. Surviving the fight with minimum injuries but the same could not be said for his opponent  although the fight was ended early, so his opponent survived. The other Master Assassins kept to their word and allowed Shadow to join the camp for training. Shadow's training was different than most of the other young assassins  his was more focused on channeling and controlling his dark side, although he still trained in advanced dagger-work, sneaking,  advance sneaking, and dagger throwing. After a few years passed by Shadow was delivered a letter saying he had been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he throws it away as he thought it was a joke. But then he got a a second, third, forth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth. Upon getting the eighth letter Shadow decided to go to the Head Master Assassin with it. He knew nothing about a school of the school named Hogwarts  Shadow still decided that he wanted to investigate. When the Head Master Assassin head that Shadow wanted to investigate, he told Shadow that it was impossible until he took the Test to become a Master Assassin himself, and that could take another few years. Shadow demanded to take the test early, and after some persuasion the Head Master Assassin agreed. The test was easier than Shadow had expected and passed it with flying colors. After taking the Assassin's oath, Shadow grabbed a couple maps and headed off for a place called Kings Crossed Station in London, to find Platform 9 3/4.
Shadow spent his years at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry making nothing special of himself, just the average student trying to get by. He didn't excel very much at any of the magic classes, unlike his class mates, he knew nothing about magic until he arrived in Hogwarts. Though Shadow did have an interest in the magical beast that he was slowly be introduced to. In fact he was so interested in the beasts that he always had his head in a book about them. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Dreadful Denizens of the Deep, The Monster Book of Monstersby Edwardus LimaFrom Egg to Inferno: a Dragon-Keeper's GuideMen Who Love Dragons Too Much  to name a few but there were many more.
Upon graduation of Hogwarts Shadow was able to get a job at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, thanks to the owner feeling bad for him. While there Shadow had learned many skills about how to care for a Dragon and other magical beast. Shadow had to admit, reading in a book of how to care for a magical beast was a lot different than actually taking care of one. After a few months of working there Shadow began to gain a reputation, it was like every animal just loved him. The boss even made him head of taking care of a baby dragon they had received, a Chinese Fireball. Shadow treated the dragon as if it were his child, he was even know to spend a night or two in the cage with it. The two of them shared a powerful bond.  Then after a few years the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Beast Division, came to the Sanctuary claiming that several dragons had to killed due to overpopulation. One of the several named to be killed were Shadow's very own. Shadow spent entire days and nights after that announcement, contemplating what to do. He couldn't let his dragon be killed and the Ministry just wouldn't listen to him. Then on one starless, moonless, night Shadow did the unspeakable. He released his dragon, you could say it was from the long term effects of his dagger or his love for his dragon, maybe a mixture of both. Shadow couldn't stay at the Sanctuary, they would know he did it! From there on out he must live on the run.
And so he did, until one day he wondered into the mountains on an abandoned, forgotten, dirt path. A great big Chinese Fireball dragon landed before him, this was when Shadow knew his days were over. He closed his eyes and awaited for his death, there could be no running, not from a dragon. Then ten, fifteen, thirty seconds past and nothing... Shadow opens his eyes and stares into the dragon's, the dragons.... His dragon! This was his baby, the one he raised, the one he released. It made it it, it lived, it escaped, it had a home. Shadow places his hand on his dragon's snout, and then the both of them knew. They'd live together.  His dragon allowed him to continue down the path and to Shadow's greatest surprise a gigantic castle, one fit for a prince. Upon  getting settled into his castle with his dragon, Shadow beings to look around the mountains, It was filled with many magical beast and near a forest also filled with even more magical beast.
One day when Shadow was feeling particularly brave he decided to wander all the way through the forest. To his wonder surprise, Diagon!!! Shadow was living near Diagon Alley! Shadow began to make weekly visits to Diagon for supplies he couldn't scavenge. One day after being followed home by a single Ministry agent, who had knowledge of Shadow's crime, Shadow had to fight. Barely making it out of that fight by the skin of his teeth, Shadow declared that he must reinforce the Castle, with more beast. Shadow found his various beast throughout the mountains and forest. He held a particular interest in the Horklumps, after a while of studying them he gained the ability to tame them and line them against the black gates, grabbing any unwanted visitors and holding them until Shadow appeared. Some of the more rare creature Shadow was able to capture are a phoenix, baby basilisk, Sphinex. He befriended a tribe of Centaurus, and found merepeople in the lake behind the castle. Though Shadow had to travel far and wide to retrieve them.
